Vintage Bridal Workshop: Part 2

Here’s Part 2 of the Vintage Bridal workshop I attended over the weekend by Krank Photography Workshops. The workshop focussed on off-camera flash photography, but I took a few pics over the day using natural light.  Here are my faves below.

Vintage Bridal Workshop: Part 1

Waking up at 6am on a Sunday doesn’t normally appeal to me, but this weekend I had a good reason!  I’ve been itching to get my camera out again and this weekend I had the perfect excuse in the form of a Krank Photography Workshop in Samford. The theme was Vintage Bridal and the models looked fantastic in their vintage outfits and cute little lace socks!  I had a really hard time picking my favourites, so I will be dividing the images into two blog posts. Today’s post focuses on flash photography, while tomorrow will feature some natural light photography.

Bridal bouquets

I remember planning my wedding like it was yesterday. It was a crazy, overwhelming and confusing nine months of my life. On weekends I would trawl the internet searching for wedding ideas and more often than not, I would come up empty-handed.  The world of awesome of wedding blogs were in their infancy (where were you when I needed you, Style me Pretty?) and I had no idea where to start.

So today, dear bride-to-be, in the spirit of sharing, I have decided to post some images of wedding bouquets I’ve photographed to help you and hopefully inspire you! Looking back, the traditional white bouquet is clearly still the favourite colour for brides. However, as you will see, every single one is unique and beautiful in its own way. Brides are more creative,  thoughtful and resourceful than ever and they are using some  fantastic flower combinations for their bouquets. There are also some beautiful coloured bouquets that would make striking style statements for any wedding.
