Lisa and Brendan: Part 2

Here’s Part 2 of Brendan and Lisa’s bushland wedding at Walkabout Creek at The Gap.

Walkabout Creek has some lovely spots for photos. We first took some portraits on the rainforest walk.

Then got some lovely sunset photos…in the car park.

Afterwards, then we found some a nice bushland area…at the opposite side of the car park:)

I love these two. They’re so good together.

The Walkabout Creek Function Centre has a beautiful bushland outlook. Lisa and Brendan had decked out the reception room in pink and white.

The wedding cake was milk chocolate and white chocolate. I can vouch that it was delicious!

After dinner and speeches, Brendan and Lisa had their first waltz.

Brendan is super in love with Lisa. This is the way he was looking at her for most of the night.

Then it was time for the bride to dance with her dad. These two were hilarious together.

And then it was time to boogie!

Lisa’s dad was the centre of attention. He had moves!

Lisa and Brendan: Part 1

There were many things to love about Brendan and Lisa’s wedding. 1) The bright pink colour scheme (I love pink!). 2) Lisa’s awesome, very rad fuschia shoes. 3) The beautiful bushland ceremony at Walkabout Creek at The Gap 4) Brendan and Lisa . I met this awesome couple earlier in the year for their engagement shoot at Wellington Point and we had so much fun shooting under a picturesque jetty (sorry again Brendan for the mud on your shoes). We got on really well and I could tell then what a fantastic couple they made. They were both really excited about their wedding, and over the next few months, Lisa would send me emails counting down how many sleeps were left to her wedding (Only 77 more sleeps to go, one particular email read). Finally the day came, and these two couldn’t stop kissing and hugging each other!!! Congratulations on your wedding guys, all the best.

Lisa and Brendan’s wedding:

Ceremony and reception: Walkabout Creek and Walkabout Creek Function Centre, The Gap
Flowers: Arlene of Brizzy Gifts
Celebrant: Kellie Allen
Make-up: Nicole Dickson of Eye Luv Makeup

Yep, these are jellybeans. All of the guests at the wedding received a bag of pink and white jellybeans and these were some of the leftovers. Yum.

Lisa is my second bride this year to wear a birdcage veil. I’m quite digging them.

Lisa knows I like taking pictures of shoes, and told me I’d be excited when I saw hers. She was right.

The ceremony was at Walkabout Creek. Brendan and Lisa got married at a very private, little bushland amphitheatre overlooking a lake. Sweet.

Here’s Brendan.

I really liked their ceremony, which was performed by Kellie Allen. It was very sincere, and very real.

Brendan and Lisa’ s first kiss as newlyweds seemed to go on forever. It was quite romantic.

Brendan and Lisa share a private moment after their wedding.

More to come this week. Stay tuned for Part 2.
